Image information and computer vision are two hotspots at science research. As a result, different arithmetics of image processing and image transmission emerge in endlessly. The unite of FPGA and DSPs is now a new technology for image processing, which largely improves the real speed and accuracy in image processing.We use 600,000 gates APEX20K FPGA as system logic control center and floating-point DSP (TMS320C6711B) as digital signal processing center. We connect the system with computer by USB2.0 to utilize computer resource when we need, so that we can run arithmetics of image in different ways.Up to now. every module of the system has debugged and runs well. It means we have a good foundation for the design of ASIC which using in image processing and vision later.
