With the rapid development of the electronic technology, high speed digital circuit design is larger and larger in proportion in whole electronic designing field. How to deal with high speed signal problems has become the key to success for one design .In the design of high speed digital circuit, a segment of conductor is not only a conductor, but also a transmission line with distributed parameters. The mutual link relations must be considered as transmission line. Therefore, the design of high speed digital circuit must face the signal integrity problems, such as reflection, crosstalk, overshoot, oscillation and simultaneous switching noise, all of which are caused by the postponement of mutual link.This paper focuses on the research of high speed digital circuit design technique based on the research item named "WCDMA (Wideband Code Division Multiple Access) Baseband Signal Processing Board". Firstly, the definition of high speed digital circuit and some concepts of high speed digital circuit design, such as frequency, time, distance, characteristic impedance, signal integrity, are introduced. Then the theory of transmission line is studied. The reasons of reflected signal and the methods to eliminate or reduce reflected signal are given in detail. And then the methods and notices of high speed digital circuit hardware design and PCB (Printed Circuit Board) design are discussed in detail. In the end, the results of test testify that the designed high speed digital circuit board attained the desired design aim.
