| Digital library, a brand-new concept and practice, characterized by the digitized process, storage, management and transmission, achieves the information service beyond the Physical space by means of multi-media access, telnet transmission, intelligent retrieval and seamless link across different database. Its rich intension and bright future of development makes it undoubtedly a new starting Point and developing goal for the library. It is not only opportunity but also challenge for Library, its aim is better served for readers, society and economy construction of country and scientific studies.Centering on the demand of Army's actuality, we discuss technologies in digital library and realize these. This system applies Visual C++ 6.0 sp6 which is current popular development tool as foreground development tool, the data base applies SQL server 2000.Its function decompounds into five systems, they are books gathering and editing system, books circulation system, reading room administration, application of campus ID and books access system.This paper also discuss the key technologies in digital library, which are the architecture of digital library, the application of middleware and the program frame for network communications. We not only study theories and fruits of the grand old man, but also bring forward some individual and personal perception. |
