With digitalization and network of information, digital library is generated under need. The establishment, management and maintenance about digital library become issues that people focus on. When digital liberator is applied, the copyright protections of digital pictures and documents have to be involved. The paper takes the two issues into account as a integration and presents a digital library design and implement method that based on proxy server and digital watermarking.Firstly, the paper analyses the difficulties about digital copyright protection of digital library. So digital watermarking is quoted to protect the copyright. On the base, the algorithm of space domain and transform domain and research on the attacks on digital watermarking are discussed.Secondly, the paper analyses proxy server, because proxy server is important on digital library build and management. Proxy server work theorem and construction are discussed. Platform management framework and layer management framework on proxy server management are analyzed. In order to enhance the availability of proxy server, this paper comes up with a new architecture of proxy server, which is LCSP. The process of service invalidation under this structure is also discussed.Based on the analysis of watermarking and proxy server, this paper proposes a design and implementation procedure of digital library. On the basis of pointing out the main technology foundations, this paper entails the design of watermarking module framework and implementation of functions of proxy server based on watermarking.Finally, this paper provides the detail of watermarking implantation test, resource acquisition test, watermarking deletion test, pressure test and proxy server invalidation test. The results demonstrate characteristics of high security , easy to implement easy to manage and etc.
