Designing And Achieving On Engineering Project Manpower Hour Management System

According to the Project Management features of China Petroleum Pipeline Engineering Corporation (CPPE), by using of the existing Net Platform and IT techniques, the Paper's destination is to get the report for workloads and Manpower Hour(MH) by counting, computing and analyzing in the course of the management control; to set the different query limits on the different employees to be convenient for the leader and the Project Management(PM) Departments to know the Manpower Resources and using of them on timeTo meet the needs for PM, the Subject Group has developed (EPMHMS) for CPPE. The system includes three parts: the first part (the panning and auditing for Project MH) realized by the Client/Server(C/S)configuration; the other parts (the Individual Manpower Hour Management Systems and the complex count and query), by Browser/Server (B/S). The Company Standard Workload Break-Up Structures (CSWBS) will be established by classifying and coding all specialties and work packages in CPPE, by establishing management flow and total function structure graphs, by founding the tables and the views in the data-base on the platform of SQL Server 2000,by finishing the project manpower Hour plan and approving (C/S) by using of Delphi6.0; finishing the Individual MH filling and the complex count check by using of ASP.NET techniques and C# programmed languages (B/S ).The System Designing and Achieving has been finished rudimentally in the Subject based of the experiences for the existing domestic, the overseas project control system and the CPPE's actual instances. It has changed the manner and the way manual collecting and counting MH in the past, and normalized effectively the management course of the Project MH, and decreased the workload counting the Project MH, and improved the work efficiency and the accuracy. The information in the system is very important, and to be convenient for leads to decision-making and reference for bidding. The system has provided the techniques and the information for the Project Management Integrated Information System, and boosted the management mode of CPPE to be changed to the International Engineering Corporation.
