Web Based Man-Hour Management System For Software Industry

In this paper, takes the example of TianJin seasoft electronic science and technology co.ltd project management as background, combining the current project man-hour management system's process and situation, to implement the frame work of man-hour management system and more details and discussion on the core technique and solution.This system is based on Struts framework, takes J2EE as development platform, employing Servlet and JSP technique to implement a complete package of man-hour management system. In this system, a series of functions have been realized which include electronic man-hour input, confirmation, query, statistics, report forms output and print, and the management of basic information, authority extent supporting and E-mail which improve the efficiency and quality significantly. In order to complete this system, dividing the all the functions into several modules which are staff management module, man-hour collecting module, project management module, man-hour calculate module, calendar and weekly report form module. The advantages of this system is that it has realized an excellent user interface, which resolves the problems in the software development of man-hour management system that used in the companies have business deals with Japan.With this man-hour management system, management within different departments and projects is becoming more convenient and efficient which can improve co-operate efficiency significantly and make the man-hour management system works systematically, normatively and automatically.
