With the development of technology, OA System has been used extensively. As an Internet application program, the B/S infrastructure popular today is most adopted in the development of OA system. The use of this plan has reduced the disposition cost of the application system, had a simple structure, solved the difficult which people were beset with during the C/S age. The traditional B/S develop model use a refresh mode. Under this pattern, what the client can see is a pure html interface. OA system is more complex than normal internet application program. Many deficiencies of html have betrayed during the develop period of OA system. The traditional Web develop technology can not bring the user rich controlling force. Most operation is disordered because of the restrictions of html.By using the RIA (Rich Internet Application) technology, we can offer users the user experience just like that in desktop software and take advantage of the flexible disposition at the same time. In addition, it can reduce the server's press by distributing some function to the client.In this article, we introduced the origin, advantage and the resolvent of RIA and compared it with Ajax. And then, we analyzed how to develop a RIA application by using Macromeida's Flash deeply and give out the detail resolvent of a OA system based on RIA.The Rich Client developed by Flash provied the OA system translated client program. By using asynchronous Client/Server infrastructure, we are given a Server-Oriented model with security, easy update, good adaptability. And at the same time the OA system become easy to control. In addition, the communication technology combined with sound, video and Instant Messenger can make OA System more competitive.
