DVB-H is a new digital terrestrial broadcasting standard especially for mobile data and multimedia service to handheld terminals based on DVB-T standard.This thesis gives a DVB-H simulation system including a transmitter and receiver, and realizes the coding and decoding of channel codec. Besides, it gives the implementation of time slicing, MPE-FEC frame structure and the erasure correction algorithm of RS code in DVB-H.Firstly, the thesis introduces DVB-H standard based on DVB-T particularly, especially the channel codec used in DVB-H. It gives the structure chart of transmitter and receiver in the DVB-H system.Then it researches the different kinds of channel codec in DVB-H system, including pseudo random code, RS code, punctured convolutional code and interleaving. It compares different algorithm and parameters, adopts the high efficiency algorithm and explains the realization.The thesis also researches the two key technology of DVB-H system: time slicing and MPE-FEC. It introduces the principle and purpose of them and also explains the implementation.Finally it does the debug and simulation to the entire system and analyze the result. And then analyze the decoding performance by changing the parameters of channel codec.
