The Design And Implementation Of A Real Time Mobile Surveillance System

With the increasing requirements for security, the surveillance system is widely applied in stadiums, buildings etc. By using video cameras, these systems real-time monitor the target scenes, sending the captured video data to the remote display so as to accomplish effective safety control. However, most existing video surveillance systems adopt fixed end system as display devices, whose configuration and maintainace are complicated and lack of flexibility for the constraints on location.The rapid progress of the wireless network on aspects of data transfer, network bandwidth and access methods provide advantageous circumstances for the mobile device based application system development. Compared with the cable network, wireless network can supply flexible approaches and convenient access to network resources anywhere and anytime.
