Design And Implement Of On-line Examination Real-time Monitoring System Based On Image

ABSTRACT: Along with the rapid development of computer technology and network technology, the on-line examination system has gradually become a new exam way in the educational institution, the authentication organization and the enterprise staff education. This new exam way has obtained more and more widespread application and development. As same as the ordinary examination, the on-line examination faces many kinds of cheating on the test. So it needs an effective monitoring way to make the on-line examination guarantee the examination's fairness and safety.Both the man-power monitoring and video record monitoring which are widely used have many insufficiencies. Aim at that, the paper designs and develops a new on-line examination monitoring system which based on PC camera. The new system uses PC camera and image processing technology. It can provide a low cost and highly effective monitoring way for the on-line examination.Taking the NCAE examination system which has already been developed as a background,the paper analyzes the demand of the on-line examination monitor, designs an overall structure and function module of the supervisory system and make a system description for each functional module of the system. The paper mainly introduces the research of real-time image processing technology: the picture preservation reading and saving, the image preprocessing and the image similarity comparison method. Besides, it makes the whole introduction to the running pattern of on-line examination supervisory system based on machine camera. It introduces key point of the system in detail: using ActiveX technology to create monitoring thread which process image real-timely and alarm.
