There are many reasons of corrosion in the offshore oilfield, and the types are complicated. The loss will be very severe if there is heavy corrosion. There are many methods of Surveillance, which also have a large scope. And the results are different to each other. It's always a difficulty to manage the results and analyze the equipment corrosion of the oilfield in practice through the data. Corrosion in the Devon oilfield has been severe after production. There are all kinds of surveillance methods as well as the surveillance sites at present, and the amount of information is very large. It's quite necessary to build a data base system to manage the surveillance data.Based on the existing system and analysis, according to the customers'demand, the system divides the customers'requirements into seven parts: basic information, flow chart, corrosion surveillance data, chemical treatment/incident, system setting, document manage, information clue. These modules cover all the flow charts, platforms, Well/Equipment/Piping informations, and six kind of scene surveillance methods, four kinds of lab analysis methods, as well as all the management of the corrosion data of the oilfield such as corrosion plan, corrosion report, corrosion forum, system information, chemical treatment, incident, documents. The system is a B/S-based data management system based on the Microsoft NET and SQL Server 2000. During the development, the subsidiary tools and technology such as versions control, bug tracking are used. The system effectively managed the corrosion surveillance data of the Panyu oilfield. It can also provide important evidence for production and equipments examine and repair.
