Research Of Data Surveillance System For Colleges And Universities Inner-Net

With the popularization of network applications and rapid development of network technology, network office has entered all industries and penetrated into many fields, causing serious problems in network management. As an information platform for all faculties and students, Colleges and Universities Inner-Net is paid more attention for its importance and secret-kept capability of the data. However, the available scheme normally does not take the essential security requirement of such specific network into consideration. With diverse forms of connection,uneven distribution of the terminal and network connectivity as well as openness, Colleges and Universities Inner-Net is vulnerable to hackers and malicious software attacks. To ensure integrity, availability and confidentiality of Inner-Net information, network security measures must be able to fully respond to vulnerability and various network threats. Therefore, the network data security is a very important topic. Data Surveillance System, which utilizes computer or network equipment to capture local network packets and remote data packets, analyze and process data content, focuses on monitoring and measuring network data in network security management.In this thesis, we analyze the current campus network security management. Based on the campus network security requirements, we study the leaking-out ways and means of Inner-Net information, design and implement a stable, reliable and efficient Data Surveillance System with the help of information security technology and method of modern network.With more active security management and monitoring, this system, which adopts packet technology acquisition and restructuring with BPF mechanism, data analysis technology in fast character matching, NetFlow, sFlow and data traffic statistical techniques, helps to achieve effective control, effective warning and timely alarm, realizing surveillance real-time visualization and ensuring the safety, confidentiality, and integrity of Inner-Net data.Compared with data surveillance system in the past, this system, which adopts a comprehensive, systematic, effective and safe network data management method, can quickly and accurately locate and solve existing network problems, prevent and eliminate hidden trouble of network security, greatly reduce losses related to network insecurity and largely improve safe performance of the Inner-Net.This System probes into the network protocol, gathers and analyzes data packets, and effectively supervises the internal data transfer of Colleges and Universities Inner-Net. Tests show that the system can effectively monitor the data. The next key work is to improve the system stability and reliability.
