| Some equipment with CPU in CDMA Base Station System (BSS) needs software support, so a safe, dependable and convenient Version Management System (VMS) is required to download the equipment software in BSS. For development of new telegraphic operation, much software should be upgraded and unified management is demanded by many kinds of software versions. To solve this problem, an information model of Version Management is given in this thesis. This model is used to download, inquire, synchronize and maintain the foreground equipment software in VMS of CDMA BSS.J2EE structure is applied in the background based on TMN criterion, and VMS background comprises Management Application Function (MAF), Work Station Function (WSF) and Element Management Function (EMF). MAF is server and WSF is client. Common process flow and common function are chosen to be Common Application Function (CAF) structure, which can be used in different VMS with different network elements. Also, a unified interface F is designed for intercommunication between client and server.In the foreground, according to dendriform topology in CDMA2000 network, a download system with master memory and layered transmission is designed. In this system, VMS foreground is divided into three layers of master note, in the course of downloading software, each layer of note store the version file itself and the version file of its corresponding control board, and only receive and transmit the version file of next layer, so the download speed and dependability is improved. Hierarchical directory structure is applied to store information and information file is used to memorize parameter of the version software, then these parameter files are maintained in the foreground and some integrated VMS functions, which include version inquiry, whole-net information collection and so on, are finally realized.The production of this thesis has been applied in CDMA network management system in ZTE Company. |
