Research And Implementation Of Maintenance Service Management In Supply Chain Environment

Maintenance service system involves two business enterprises: manufactories and service companies. In the spare part supply chain constituted by the two enterprises, there are some supply chains'common problems: the problem of cooperation with all enterprises; the problem of improving the efficiency of messages transfer and the problem of eliminating the demand variance etc. All of these problems will result in unconformity of supplies and demands of spare parts, and arose overstock or out of stock. Meanwhile, the demands of spare parts are fluctuated under the sale condition, the life time of a spare part, the guarantee etc. In addition, maintenance service systems have two effects: keeping the promises of after-sales service, increasing new profits. So, maintenance service systems have two own peculiarities: a wide range of fluctuating of demands of spare part and high cost of outing of stock.Owing to the two kinds of problems-common and peculiar problems, lots of companies keep higher level stock of spare parts than actual demands. It makes the stock cost of spare part very high. The keys of solving these problems are to enhance the sharing level of information and the precision of demand forecasting of spare parts.This thesis did not use the traditional methods to forecast the demand of spare parts, but describes a new approach based on replacing distribution of spare parts. It involves four aspects:(1) It gives the distribution of spare parts demand at a particular time, ascertains the replacing rate probability density function basing on the sales data of spare part, and deduces the undulate function of the spare parts demand which changing with time during the whole period time on the base of the function and the history sales date. Under the base of Central Limit Theorem, the paper obtains the distribution of the particular later period.(2) The programming model establishment and solution.
