The spectrometer is a kind of precision optics analysis instruments which areused to analyze various kinds of substances chemical components and its content. Itis applied extensively in many fields such as physical experiment, chemic analysis,biological research, medical science & medicine study, industrial and agriculturalproduction, national defense, etc. It is important for spectrometers to be miniaturizedand microminiaturized, as well as to analyze in real-time and in situ rapidly. As animportant part of spectrometer, data acquisition and transmission system is one of thekey techniques to realize the above request.At present, the traditional data acquisition system of spectrometer can notsatisfy the micro-spectrometer and limit its wide application. In this thesis, a newdata acquisition system for the micro-spectrometer is designed based on both CCDand USB. The new data acquisition system is developed to realize the miniaturizationand micromation of the spectrometer, and meet the requirements of real-timemeasurement with high speed.This paper is composed of four parts:First, the current situation of micro-spectrometers is reviewed, based on thedomestic and foreign research works and literature. It is analyzed that the techniqueis used in the data acquisition system of micro-spectrometers. The proposal of thedata acquisition is established.Second, the structure of the micro-spectrometer is studied. According to theprincipal and structure of conventional spectrometers introduced,the structure ofthe micro-spectrometer is designed used for fluorescence measurement. Thelightsource, optical fiber probe, optical system are analyzed, and the data acquisitionsystem is also designed with both CCD and USB.Third, the application of CCD is researched in the field of spectral analysis.TCD1208AP is selected as the photo-electronic array detector in the data acquisitionsystem. It is designed that the circuits of the data acquisition system include theamplifying circuit, A/D converter and the buffer electric circuit. It is drawn fromexperiments that the circuit satisfies for continuing to process the spectrum data.
