| The spectrometer is an important kind of optical instrument. It is a basic device to measure and analyze the material structure and its ingredients. It has advantages of higher resolution, broader measuring range, and faster speed etc. It is widely used in metallurgy, geology, petroleum chemical industry, environmental protection etc. It has become more and more important in many fields such as remote sensing, remote measuring, mineral exploring and environment monitoring. At the same time, it is required to be more reliable, lower power consumption, easier operation, lower price and higher performance. The computer software of the spectroscope is one of its key elements, which has important practical application value.First, according to the deep investigation of the current situation of micro spectrometers application software and its tendency of development, the characteristics and shortages have been concluded in this thesis. The necessity of the research and the design of the miniature spectrometer application software have been analyzed.Second, the requirements of application software have been analyzed based on the software engineering basic theory and the designing method's characteristics of Object-oriented Microsoft Windows application software. The flow chart of software structure has been drawn and the programming language has been chosen.Third, the micro-spectrometer's overall structure and the working principle of the hardware system have been analyzed. In view of the development miniature optical fiber spectroscope practical application demand, Microsoft Visual the Studio Integrated Developing Environment and C++ object-oriented programming language is used to develop the software of micro-spectrometer, which realizes the function of collecting, analyzing, displaying, and storage of spectral signal.Fourth, the spectral curves have been smoothed by Neighbor Averaging, Out Neighbor Averaging, Median Filter and Out Median Filter.
