| With the rapid development of correspondence technology and Internet, the demand on all kinds of relative services increases quickly. The proportion of date services is bigger and bigger in correspondence network. The transmission network has gradually been changing into diplex-character network of basic services and operation services from only basic network. This change accelerates the metropolitan transport network (MTN) construction. Hence the MTN construction scheme in Dandong Mobile Company is designed by the Multi-Service Transport Platform (MSTP) technology in this paper and the MSTP technology applications in the MTN construction are studied.Compared with the other MTN technologies, the MSTP is chosen to construct the MTN of Dandong Mobile Company. The concept of MSTP is briefly introduced, as well as the support form of MSTP loading TDM, Ethernet and ATM services.The frame of MSTP technology is introduced, by different protocols makeup, the forms of MSTP loading services are analyzed in detail.The MSTP some key technology and corresponding application are studied: VC virtual link and LCAS; MSTP encapsulation protocols: PPP, LAPS and GFP; then the embedded Resilient Packet Ring (RPR) and later the embedded Multi-Protocol Label Switching (MPLS).VC link can solve the problem of bandwidth mismatching in SDH and Ethernet. LCAS is considered of a simple adjust measure on the basic of VC virtual link. MSTP encapsulation protocols are used to finish encapsulation methods and mapping format during the mapping from Ethernet frames to SDH frames. MPLS is designed to finish different data packages on SDH by mark encapsulation; the embedded RPR is used to deal with the data stream on the ring-topologyThe correlative key technologies are compared and analyzed, and then the characters of MSTP are found out. The MSTP technology situation in different development periods is introduced. MSTP devices interlink age from the different company, and the interlink age between MSTP ones and SDH ones are introduced. |
