With the increasing competition in the international market, the domestic market competition is increasingly intense. For the television media, the competition also has been transformed from the traditional program competition and the advertisement competition into the core competitive ability contest. In order to meet this challenge, how to cultivate and make own core competitive ability is a determining factor which decide whether domestic television media can survive and achieve sustainable development under fierce competition in the future.After many years development, the Anhui television station accumulated the certain market competition superiority, which is showed on resources, brand, program, talented person, management experience, digital and network's promotion and maintenance, and so on. Under the new environment, how does the Anhui television station through cultivating and making own core competitive ability to speed up own development and maintain competitive advantages, is a topic which needs thoroughly to study.The thesis utilizes the correlation knowledge such as core competitive ability theory, strategic management, market marketing, to analyze the Anhui television station's development course, own characteristic and its environment and development opportunity. On this basis, it emphatically proposes the ideas and the countermeasure for the Anhui television station in the process of cultivating and constructing own core competitive ability from brand management, program innovation, scientific production managements and scientific quality appraisal system, advertisement marketing, client marketing management, human resources development.The research results in this thesis will be very helpful to the television media to truly excavate, cultivate and make own core competitive ability.
