As the motivity for growth of economy and comprehensive national strength, informationization has changed people' s lives and enforced industry upgrading, which lead to a first industry revolution in the 21th century .The key point of informationizing industrial enterprises is to build a network and database based platform of data collecting, transmitting and storing, which could bring control, data service, monitoring and management into integration.The integrated information platform is designed to provide plant data to ERP or MRP systems, while, its real-time database system treats whith most of all the business. In this article, we set up the goal to contruct the whole platform and so, analyzed the requirement, as well as software architecture. Then we studied the transaction scheduling and data accessing of real-time database. To be a data server, the integrated information platform will also answer for calls from OPC clients by its own OPC server software, developed with a third-party module.Besides researching of framework of the real-times database, we keep focus on some techniques in specific as data compressing, buffer management, memory organization and concurrency control. All of those issues affect the system a lot. At last, we had a test on performance of the real-time database as background data server which is connected to virtual work station of Suny TDCS9200. We start the OPC server as client and monitor to get a result that under light load, the real-time data base is excellent on data serving and meets our requirement of design. |
