This paper has researched the USB communication in the embeded system and completed the hardware design and realization of the U Disk Notebook based on wireless location technology.According to the USB 1.1 communication standard this paper realized the USB Real-time communication between SCM and the computer.The paper has also analyzed the applications of the FAT16 File System which is based on Windows systems in U disk.The software of U Disk Notebook can make SCM control the U disk independently and can also create or delete any files in the U disk.U Disk Notebook used the ultrasonic signal and the infrared signal to fix position,and located the pen by capturing the analog signals.At the same time the system can read and write a U disk by the USB interface.U Disk Notebook can connect to the computer by the USB interface.The device driver make the communication between the notebook and the computer.When the communication was set up the screen of the computer can show the chirography which people was writing.The information technology developed so fast and the internet was accepted by more and more people,a new educational trend began to be popular.Many advanced multimedia education and remote communication developed so fast.The interactive electronic board is much more popular.It has the virtue of blackboard and electronic media and make sense of the paperless education.It is the revolution of the education and office equipment.Now in China the research of interactive electronic board mostly concentre on the making of big board which was used in classroom or meeting room.The research of small electronic board was just at the beginning and the use was not clear.In the situation U Disk Notebook was born.It not only preserved many excellent feature of interactive electronic board but also make the paperless education much more popular.U Disk Notebook is a smart digital notebook which can read the handwriting. Because the memory space was U disk it was very convenienced.U Disk Notebook can realize the FAT16 file system,so it can operate the U disk without computer.The custom of writing on paper was in place of by writing in U disk.Without paper the handwriting can also be stored in the U disk.U Disk Notebook also can be a equipment which was input by handwriting.USB interface linked the computer and U Disk Notebook.Through the software the handwriting can be showed on the computer screen.The communication was instantaneous and accurate no matter what the notebook was communicating with the U disk or the computer.U Disk Notebook is smart and light can be take easly.It can be used in the education or office in placed of the paper notebook.The operation was so easy that it can work just by powering.For the user does not need many computer skill it can be used by much more people.The program had applied two patents which were State invention patents and State utility model patents.It was also support by two fund which were Innovation Fund of Science & Technology Department for M&S company and Innovation Fund of Jilin for M&S company.The content and accomplished works are as follows:The first chapter introduces the research background of U Disk Notebook which is compared with interactive electronic board and input of handwriting, and treat of its value.The second chapter introduces the whole structure and each component element of U Disk Notebook, simply analyzes the location method and the communication protocol.The third chapter analyzes the FAT16 file system in detail.Through the data in U disk the chapter disserts the applications and the calculation of the file system in U disk.It also puts forward a new method to operate U disk without computer.The fourth chaptor designs and realizes the hardware of digital circuit of U Disk Notebook.The fifth chaptor designs the software of two work patterns which are host pattern and devied pattern.It also shows the device driver program on computer.The software also realizes all the functions of U Disk Notebook.The sixth chaptor analyzes the experimentation data and shows many problem which may be possible.The seventh chaptor provides a general conclusion as well as the direction for future research and work.The main devotions are as follows:(1)It analyzes the virtue of interactive electronic board and the input technology by handwriting and put forward the design of U Disk Notebook.(2)It completes the design and realization of the hardware of digital circuit.(3)It can obtaineds the accurate time message by the ultrasonic signal and the infrared signal.(4)It realizes the real time communication between SCM and computer by USB1.1.(5)It can use SCM to recognize the FAT16 file system and can make SCM to control U disk without computer.SCM can create or delete any file in the U disk, and it can also edit or change any file in the U disk.(6)It finishs the model of U Disk Notebook.There are still some problems need to be solved as follows:(1)When U Disk Notebook works without paper it has the digisplay problem.(2)The design of power is needed.(3)The low power consumption needs to be design in the...
