The Research And Application Of Open Network CNC System Based On PMAC

Today, CNC system is developing to the trend of intelligence, integration and network, as well as advance, complication and specialty. Therefore, CNC machine should be with open interface communication, modularized machine structure, specialized control function and individualized OS. To meet the demands, open architecture CNC system is becoming the trend of CNC system, and the researching focus of many institutes.From the researching general situation of NC technology, the paper analyzed the technology characteristic and developing trend of modern NC system, and illuminated the basic concept and characteristic about the open CNC system. On the basis of analyzing OSACA architecture, the paper anatomized the open demand, open principle and open approach of NC system after collating hardware and software of traditional NC system. Moreover, after researching three types of open architectures based on PC, the paper chose one of these, PC embedded PMAC, to construct CNC system prototype, and mainly designed the hardware framework of CNC system. The paper adopted object oriented method to analyze the function modules and the function cells. After that, the paper also researched the developing method of open CNC application system, including the choice of operating system and developing environment, as well as the realization of G/M code in PMAC and interface in PC.With the development and application of computer and network technology, manufacturing faced network has already become the modern symbol of manufacturing enterprises. According to the network demand of CNC system faced networked manufacturing mode. This paper analyzed the characteristic and the function of the networked numerical control system and constructed its function model to meet the networked requirement of CNC system. Moreover, the framework of the networked numerical control system was established adopting the Browser/Server pattern based on Internet/Intranet technology. Furthermore, a kind of prototype of the networked numerical control system was developed, and realized the documents transmitting and information sending functions under local area network by utilizing Winsocket programming method.
