With the rapid development of modern science and technology, the electroplating technology has had great progress, a lot of physics factors have been introduced in the process of electroplating, for instance: magnetic field/sound field/temperature/current wave form/shake and so on. it has improved plating's quality and electroplating efficiency. Pulse electroplating/ composite electroplating and high speed electroplating are studyed comparatively actively in international field of study, among them, pulse electroplating has been already used with some success abroad, but pulse electroplating 's extension is slower in the homeland, which the cause is that it is difficult to purchase high-quality pulse electroplating power source, therefore, the study of the high-quality pulse electroplating power source will certainly become a kind of development trend.This paper have researched detailedly the stress and diffcult of the power source through analyzed the design of the power source, and have given an intelligent solution, have accomplished design of hardware and software of power source, And have verified rationality and correctness of the system design by the experiment.The two silicon controlled rectifiers(SCRs) which parameters can be adjustable alone are used to be direct current power in the main circuit , realized peak value and platform value of outputing current adjustable alone; Buck Three-Level chopper converters is used to realize output three-level pulse wave forms; The DSP device TMS320F240 is used in the control system for real time control in power converters, it has raised systematic real time nature and the accuracy at the same time; The control algorithm adopted neural networks PID to carry out closed-loop current control system and improved the pulse current stability.From the experiment we may safely draw the conclusion that the output pulse wave form of the power source is fine, and the current amplitude stabilizes, the power source satisfied the requirement on the technology of the electroplating process.
