In the research process of computer "virtual person", the hair simulation of three dimensions is absolutely necessary to shape the virtual person with true action and expression. As a part of virtual person research, the simulation and dynamic realization of hair are very complex, and involve every side of computer graphic technique, and have important theory value. The hairstyle and imitation research of reality three dimensions can be widely used to the computer cartoon, electronic game, movie and video execution, and so on.On the base of theory research of Computer Graphics and Mechanics, The hairstyle and imitation research of reality three dimensions is researched, and the paper has made four aspects of work: firstly, on the side of choosing head model, the founded head grid model is simplified to reduce the grid vertex and triangle face. Secondly, the paper analyses the specialties of hair model, orientation of the hair growth point, enduring forces and the growth region, and simulates the single hair and hair clump on the base of above, then some parameters are chosen to realize the simulation of multi style of hair clump. Thirdly, the paper expatiates the collision detection between hair and head, body. The collision detection between a single hair and head grid model is realized. Finally, using the method of NURBS bent face, the paper makes the imitation of some kinds of whole hairstyle, and the result proves that the effect of this method is fine.
