Hair style is an important part of 3D virtual characters.In video games,virtual reality,computer animation and other fields,realistic human hairstyles are essential to creating realistic 3D virtual characters.Modeling realistic hairstyles is the focus and difficulty of computer graphics.The complex physical properties,the huge number of hairs,and the wide variety of hair styles make it extremely difficult to model realistic hair styles.The related algorithms of hair modeling and interactive parameterized hair design based on hair generation region were studies and implemented in this thesis.In order to be able to model a variety of hairstyles,the idea of segmentation based on hair generation regions and the algorithm of hair root point allocation based on the parallel polar coordinate system of the head were raised,and different styles of hairstyles were generated by using guide hairs,and the physical simulation of the hairstyle was performed;In order to stylize the hairstyle based on the hair-generating region,the curl function of the sub-region was realized,fluffy and length-scaling parameterization method of the sub-region were proposed,and the interactive hair cutting,combing,and curling functions were achieved;In order to deal with the problem of penetration between human body and hairstyle,a collision detection and response algorithm based on the symbol distance field was complied;In order to simplify the modeling of braid hair style and bun hair style,a hair style modeling and parameter adjustment algorithm based on curve parameter equation is proposed.
