SCADA Software-based Control And Management System For Shield Machine Experiment Platform

With the extensive application of shield method in transportation and municipal engineering, it is imminent to develop our own shield manufacturing and control systems technologies. A shield tunneling experiment platform is the best approach for the purpose and a control and management system for the platform is developed.The design, realization and application of the control and management system for the shield tunneling experiment platform are presented in this thesis. The experiment platform is controlled by a distributed control system with PLC as lower level controller and PC-SCADA for Man-Machine interface which is developed via SCADA software Kingview. Special DataTaker and CEA interface programs are developed for experimental earth box data collection and Electrical Transmitter connected to PC. The requirements of control and management are analyzed firstly, and the scheme of hardware and software is proposed. Then the key technologies of the system development and the SCADA software function extension are discussed in detail. Application of script language, development of device drivers, design of algorithm ActiveX control and API-based data exchange for the application are addressed with realization given respectively. In order to meet the control requirement of the earth pressure balance shield, a self-tuning PID controller is designed. With principle of algorithm discussed, the realization of the controller algorithm based on Z-N method is given. In the end, a network connection scheme via Web for the system is introduced and related technologies are addressed.
