Research And Implementation Of Handoff Function In Security WLAN

In this paper, the WLAN security problem, handoff problem and the networking of SWLAN is discussed. We work on the related protocols of WLAN, then bring up the improved solving scheme of handoff problem in SWLAN. At last we accomplish the simulation and the implementation of handoff function in SWLAN based on ACE.Firstly, protocol of IEEE802.11 WLAN is introduced and the basic framework of WLAN is established. Above this the security techniques of WLAN is brought forward and the main context of security protocol IEEE802.11i is discussed.Secondly, the handoff problem of WLAN is introduced. The emphasis is the IAPP protocol in IEEE802.11f which is used to solve the problem. The main context includes the framework of IAPP protocol, the context of IAPP protocol and its application in WLAN.Thirdly, the networking and security access techniques of SWLAN is discussed. The improved security access scheme, especially the improved security access scheme when the mobile client is in handoff state is brought out. The simulation of distinct access scheme is also accomplished.Finally, the implementation of handoff function in SWLAN based on ACE is discussed. The emphasis is the introduction of necessary key techniques, message frames format and the designing of all related modules.
