Design And Implementation Of Access Point Of Security Wireless Local Area Network

This paper works on the protocols of SWLAN, then brings up an implementation scheme of AP, and accomplishes the design and test of hardware circuits, at last establishes the basic platform for further development. Firstly, the basic framework of IEEE802.11 WLAN is established on studying its structure and main protocols. Above this the structure and key security techniques of SWLAN are researched. Then based on the functions of AP and the structure of SWLAN, the design targets of AP are brought forward.Secondly, the implementation scheme of AP is established on basis of the study of design points of embedded system. The selection of hardware and software is emphatically introduced. Then the scheme of AP is designed based on MPC860 and embedded Linux, and the evaluation board and development kits are chosen.Thirdly, the implementation of hardware circuits is introduced. According to the hardware structure of AP, the design and tests of core system, communication ports and FPGA circuits are respectively introduced. And then the design, simulator and test of circuits of AES and interface to IEEE802.11's physical layer in FPGA are given.Finally, the development platform is established. The emphases are migration of Linux, configuration of PPCBoot, and designs of devices' drivers. All about this has established a firm basis for further development.
