Data acquisition system is a closed loop system which converts analog signals into digital signals to analyze , deal with, memory, display and treat with alarms. With the development of industrial automation, the application of data acquisition system becomes more and more extensive in the fields of petrifaction, electric power and so on. Being the change of implimention environment and data acquisition facilities, the adaptability of data acquisition software is bad and the degree of software reuse is low. Distributed object technology presents component service and is rightly provided with these virtues, which makes the research and design of data acquisition system based on it possible and necessary.The first chapter of this paper gives a brief introduction to the development of distributed object technology and its basic theory. The second chapter detailedly discusses Common Object Request Broker Achitecture and Distributed Common Object Model . The third chapter analyzes the application possibility of distributed object tecthnology in real-time data acquisition system. The forth chapter deeply studies the design of data acquisition system based on distributed object technology. The fifth chapter presents the application schemes of distributed object tecthnology in real-time data acquisition system . The sixth chapter probes into the realization technology of data acquisition system based on distributied object technology, including Web server, MTS server, component and so on.In the last part of this paper, the real-time data acquisition system of Yangzi Petrifaction Plastic Enterprise is designed and realized based on distributed common object model.
