Microcomputer's Principal and Application is an important course for many majors. Now, many colleges in our country adopt 80x86 CPU or MCS-51 series MCU as the teaching content. However, with the development of computer technology, many high capability and OS embedded CPUs have appeared which brings an impact and a challenge for the teaching course of Microcomputer's Principal and Application. This thesis finished the designing of an experimental system for the course of micro control unit which is multifunctional and opening. And, some new teaching methods of microcomputer's course are discussed in the article.This thesis firstly introduces the background of this project and the designing scheme for the experimental system.Secondly, the on line emulation mode and in system programme function which are realized in the experimental system are presented. After analyzing the typical circuit, the thesis discusses the purpose and significance of the circuit blocks in the experimental system. Subsequently, the article presents the applicational technology of the programmab1e logic device and discusses the feasibilities and advantages of using the technology in the experimental system. The article also states the designing of the electronic logic devices which are based on CPLD technology and the realization of the proper working between the electronic logic devices and the micro control unit system. Then, this thesis states the changes of the teaching methods of the course of micro control unit which are brought by the new experimental system based on the CPLD technology. In addition, the thesis points out a scheme of realization the opening teaching laboratory.Finally, the article discusses the basic applicational mode of the experimental system. A conclusion of this thesis and a direction of further perfection of the experimental system are made.
