The Research And Design Of Mobile Geographical Information System Based On Embedded Environments

Embedded mobile GIS is a kind of new application fields, and a product of the combination of the GIS and fresh embedded hardware and extension, a supplementation development of traditional GIS. It provide the exactly location of mobile equipment and offer real-time querying , publishing. Therefore, the application of combination embedded GIS and PDA have pleasant prospect on the mobile accurate environmental.Firstly, on this paper, background of embedded OS, the relation conception of mobile database base on embedded environmental, mobile calculation environmental, base knowledge of wireless communication, the conception of embedded GIS and mobile GIS, the theory of GPS location, and the organization of digital map data are be introduce. Then this paper pointed out the structure of map data----- combination vector and grid map data into one model base on grid, which dynamic division of geography area to speed geography search and mobile equipment location. Secondly, it analyzed selection problem of GPS/GIS integration environmental, GPS coordinate and check-error analyze and other key problem concerned with GIS development.Finally, through study in those key technology, the City Navigate Mobile GIS system based on GIS/GPS integration environment are implemented by using Embedded Visual c++.
