The Design For IPv6 Network Protocol Simulative Platform

With the high speed development of computers ,the next generation network is being close to us more and more quickly. How to master the next generation network protocol(IP protocol version 6) is the most important problem for us to face. This paper designed a platform which is used to simulate network protocol. The platform used NetPDL script to define network protocol and can edit,send,catch network data frames. We can study network protocol by using the platform.This paper proposed a method of protocol parse ,in the which we use NetPDL script based on XML to describe network protocol , extract information form NetPDL script by using DOM,and construct a protocol-struct by which we can parse data frames by using the information. finaly,the paper gived a method of parsing data frames by using the protocol.The platform can simulate Ethernet802.3, IPv6,ICMPv6, OSPFv3, RIPng, TCP, UDP protocols and it can also be used for person or computer network teaching at college.
