| The technology of laser range measurement is a widely used way of measuring at present with its advantages of high precision and credible performance in both day and night. With the great development of technology in area of laser, integration electric circle, digital signal processing, precision machines and so on, laser range finder are making progress continually towards high precision, miniaturization and digitalization, especially after the extensive application of semiconductor laser device, the performance of laser range finder is more creditable and its application scope is much wider.The technology of Laser distance demodulation can be divided into long-distance detection, short-distance detection and tiny displacement laser measuring according to measured distance. There are several ways of laser distance detection, which includes impulse laser distance detection, phase laser distance detection, triangle laser distance detection and interfering laser distance detection and so on. Impulse laser distance detection holds the characters of short continuing time of laser impulse, relatively centralized power referring to time and high instantaneous power, which is well applied to long-distance range detection; phase laser detection makes it possible to use low power laser device, and it can also be modulated in the condition of high frequency and keeps high precision measuring within short distance, which can be applied to short-distance laser detection; both triangle laser range detection and interfering laser distance detection have high sensitivity, which are applied to the area of tiny displacement measuring.The thesis designs the digital phase demodulation laser range finder based on sine wave modulating laser by aiming at the disadvantages which are complex actualization of circuit, low phase precision, weak anti-jamming power and so on of the nowaday phase laser detection system.
