The Research And Design Of Learner Evaluation In Network Education Based On Agent

Since Network Education is wide spreaded worldwide and it is playing an important role in people's studying life, people begin to pay more attention to the deficiencies and problems that occurred along with the development of Network Education. This paper is mainly focused on one of the deficiencies—almost all of the network teaching platform lack a comprehensive,impersonal and all-around evaluation system. Probing and looking into how to perfect the e-learning evalution so as to evaluate the learner's performance impersonally and accurately is of practical significance to inspire learner's initiative and enthusiasm.This paper probes into the methods to improve the Network Education evaluation based on studying of teaching theories, evaluation theories, computer technology and intelligent Agent. The intelligent characters of Agent include reactivity, auto-adaptivity, proative and cooperativity, and these characters help a lot to fully realize the intelligence and initiativity of Network Education evaluation. The way of applying Agent on the base of popular Web technologies is better than the traditional system, and it palys a positive role to improve the development of Network Education.Evaluation, one of the key functions in Network Education,is the research area in this paper.After studying the education and evaluation theories, the 3 types of evaluation in the course-learning process that needed to improve the Network Education and increase the learning effiency are found.Then the work-flow of the evaluation and all the M-Agent module structures are designed .Besides,solutions and design schemes are raised aimed at the main functions in each module,and put some of the design into practice.Network Education evaluation is at a preliminary stage. Few people choose it as his/her research area. Appling Agent technology into Network Education evaluation in this paper is an innovative try.
