The Research And Application Of Agent-Based Network Education System

Now, The web-based distance education is used most widely in the education method of distance education. While the web-based multi-media computer distance education system has many defects. It has not enough intelligence, defects such as systematic resilience, elasticity and so on. Agent technique provide one kind of the new, distributed calculation pattern and problem resolution method, it will become the next generation system pattern of the complex distributed project system. Using agents in distance education, we will get the Individual digital service, it is the effective method to resolve the contradiction between students' individual demands and singleness of education resource. Although agent technique have the important impact in the development and achievement of complex system, yet agent in itself has to be resolved a series of key problems. Especially as to the software development method of Multi-Agent system (MAS), Still lack the normative system architecture and the effective method of depiction, constitution MAS. After researching the network education and Agent-Oriented methodology, the paper unite the software engineering methodology to propose one kind of simple and realizable the OA of MAS development method, in particular exposition the series of development progress (analysis—design—detail design). Afterwards unite intelligent Agent technique against network education, through researching and analyzing network education system, get a Multi-Agent network education system model with hierarchical architecture. The pattern has four modules, every module consists of a few Agents. Utilize the coordination mechanism of Agent, modules can exchange and participate information. The designing ideas of the pattern not only bring a leading role of teacher into play but also fully reflect the main body of student. The teaching module is the core section of network education system, all education activities are proceed in here, it also is a main section of the paper researching. Now most of education patterns either too complex to achieve or not completely. In this paper, the multi-agent education pattern contains two modules, teaching organization and teaching process. The teaching organization module is used to drawing up the teaching strategy, makeup study content, settling teaching segment. Teaching process module is the simulating of an actual education process, Consist of presenting of education information, the direction of tutor, answer questions, tests and so on. The paper using the OA of MAS development method that proposed before analyze and design this module, in addition the paper give every agent of the module detail design, validate the feasibility of this MAS development method.Finally, the paper unite the author has made in the field of distance education, give out the specific application of the agent in teaching process module, obtain a series of results by means of testing, the result display that the intelligent agent apply to the intelligence of study content organization in network education system, manifest the feasibility of OA MAS development method of the paper.
