| Molecular biology is a science to explain life phenomenon essence by studying the structure and function of biological macromolecules like DNA and protein. The development of a new subject-bioinformatics was driven by using computer technique to collect, express, describe, store and analyze the large numbers of molecular biology data. This also driven the study of most computer science domains in bioinformatics, including database, data mining, artificial intelligence, algorithm, graphic calculate and software engineering. Space induced rice mutant research belongs to bioinformatics is based on mature space technique and focus on gene mutation of rice plant seed induced by space. Based on the research work of the National High-Tech Development Project (863 Project)-Space biology information acquisition and analysis techniques in biological information technology in biological and agricultural technology field.Firstly it introduced four kinds of data need to be handled by analyzing acquired information source of space induced rice mutant. They are germ plasm and induced environment, field experiment, proteome and genome experiments. Relational database model is constructed to store all kinds of data in the research effectively and is a foundation for multi-dimensional data modeling. The application system base on the created database model is developed. Multidimensional database model is constructed after inputting and analyzing sample data. Validate the model by multidimensional data analysis with sample data. It shows that the created multidimensional data model can give the information about the relations of gene-phenomenon and protein-phenomenon in many aspects. And provide strong support for the space induced rice mutant research.Induced rice plant seeds by using space condition, analyzed and managed the acquired data by using modern biology and biological information technology make great significance for mutation research on rice plant seed. |
