Nowadays, all-around reforms on electric power marketing have begun. Based on data mining and analysis, a novel system that supports power enterprise decision-making has been developed in order to construct an electricity market system which is government-enterprise detached, with fair competition, in good order and health developing, which can make full use of market basic function of resource distribution to increase efficiency and reduce cost. This decision support system is of great value in practice, because it helps power industry to enhance efficiency and level of informationization, and helps to make adjustment to changes that information technology brings. As responsibility of power companies changes from user management to marketing, electricity marketing analysis and predicting is becoming increasingly important, it becomes the primary operation of power companies. However, most marketing systems existing now only provides management function of data and information, so it becomes a hot issue on how to implement data mining to find useful information and provide decision support system with computer technologies.Based on modern market analysis theory and characteristics of power industry, this thesis integrates the marketing analysis with Decision Support System (DSS) to build an Electric Marketing Analysis Decision Support System (EMADSS) that suitable for power industry. Firstly, basic theory of decision support system has been studied; secondly, association Rule (AR) and Decision Tree (DT) algorithms in DM are presented to analyze the trait and potential of the electric selling market, application of algorithms form corresponding decision; thirdly, with Multi-statistics theories, many regression models are established for load forecasting, sensitivity analysis, power price fluctuation analysis and so on; fourthly, the system integrates predicting with decision conclusion, and propose valuable suggestion for electric power market exploration. With these models built, the system is practical for use.On the basis of power marketing model analysis, software of decision support system for power marketing analysis is investigated and developed. System architecture is design as B/S model with market potential trait. More advanced technology-ASP.NET, compared with original one, is used in software design. Connection between decision support system and background database is implemented by ADO.NET, which ensures system stability and reliability.
