The Design And Implementation Of Student Performance Analysis System Based On Data Mining

At present, with the steady progress in the construction of digital campus, every department has the independent management of electronic management system. Not only that, the communication link among the management system is gradually close. As a result, the database management system in the school has formed a rich and valuable data resource. But in fact, only a few data have been used in rough query statistics, and the most valuable data have been idle and cleaned up after several years from the database. How to carry out the research and application of data mining technology in the field of education, and how to provide assistance and support for education workers and students, is an important task in front of the school. At the same time, to further improve the efficiency of the school-running level contains important social significance. Therefore, the design and implementation of the system not only has the necessity, urgency and pertinence, but also has highly practical value.Based on the data mining technology, this paper extracts and utilizes part of the module data in the school educational administration management system. In addition to including the basic information of students who graduated from high schools last ten years, it contains 11 grades of academic proficiency test, such as Chinese, Math, English, etc, and evaluation results like Music, Art, PE and so on, and comprehensive quality level, the electives grades, the grades of the university entrance exam as well. It also collects the corresponding teachers’ information, courses’ information at the same time. At last, it designs and accomplishes a data analysis system of students’ achievement. Having analyzed users’ demand from several aspects, the system confirm the development target, which proposes the design concept based on B/S pattern, and elaborates a development platform by Visual Studio 2005, and constructs a backstage database system by SQL Server 2005, and constructs a development environment by ASP.net and C#. On the analysis of the data, it uses Association Rule, Decision-making Tree, Neural network and Clustering analysis of the data mining to analyze various grades. It will provide useful information for educational workers, such as supporting auxiliary decision-making. Debugged and tested many times, the system already has strong stability and practicability.
