Design On Embed Mobile Multimedia Device Based On ARM

With the development of Electronic technology, integration of Multimedia chip has hit a high level with more functions and low cost. Multimedia chip has been used in many fields, such as Digital Communication, Signal, Automatic Control etc…Mobile Multimedia Device is one of them.This dissertation focuses on the application of embeded system and whole system design, including the transplant of embed system, hardware driver design, video and audio play development platform design. Transplant of embeded sytem and driver development will be the main question in this dissertation.We design an embeded mobile multimedia device which achieves some multimedia functions, such as MPEG4/3GP video file play, MP3/AAC/AMR audio file play, JPEG image play etc…A multimedia chip W99802 is used in this project. It has a hardware core providing MPEG4/3GP encoding and decoding. During the research of this dissertation, we can work out a whole multimedia device which has low cost and low power-consumer, single chip SOC, and has great value in business application.
