Disaster Recovery Solution Of Fund Management Company

With the development of securities business in China, the application's depth and scope of information technology in fund management company has huge extended. The fund management company should build a disaster recovery system because the disasters could disrupt business processes. This is a system project relate to more fields.The goal of this paper is to design and build a disaster recovery system of application level in a fund management company. Those computer technologies include three fields such as remote auto replication, application system's backup and shift, clients and outside links shift. And this paper deeply researches and compares these technologies. The technologies that most fit the condition of a fund management company are choosed. While the disaster recovery project in this paper has been tested and analysed. The result showes the project could achieve not only data level disaster recovery but also application level disaster recovery. The project is full satisfied with business continuity of the company.On remote auto replication, this paper first deeply analyses major several principles of replication, and then compares the advantages and disadvantages of these replication technologies, at last points out the technology of based volume replication most fits the condition of a fund management company.On application system's backup and shift, this paper deeply analyses the core application systems of the fund management company, and then presents a project that would reduces more hosts in secondary site and reduces cost of building disaster recovery system.
