The Implementation Of Medical Image Based On DICOM Standard

DICOM(Digital Imaging and Communication in Medicine)standard,the high level network communication protocol in medical imaging, standardized the image exchange and operation implementation between medical systems using network. DICOM make it possible that the medical images produced by devices from different factory can be stored and transferred uniformly.Firstly, based on the thorough analysis of DICOM3.0 protocol, this paper made a detailed analysis of DICOM communication architecture, the function of DICOM high level protocol, and several key communication service classes in DICOM communication process and its protocol (for example, store service class C-STORE, verification service class C-ECHO, query service class C-FIND, and etc. ). Secondly, in chapter four, this paper induced an implementation model for DICOM communication, based on the application model of DICOM, object working scheme in DICOM system, and as well as the layered network model in TCP/IP protocol. Paper described the layered idea for DICOM communication protocol implementation, the detailed architecture, implementation, and key technique in each layer. In chapter five, the running results of the implemented DICOM protocol in LAN is listed.
