The Application Of Data Mining Technology In Traffic Control

Data mining is a technique, which has been blooming in recent years. People can apply the research result of knowledge discovery to the data process which can support the science decision. As we know, Data Mining has a large research scope. Association rules data mining is one of important research subject in it. The database technology already obtained the full application in the traffic control domain, caused the mass data appear in the transportation domain, and mass data with association and rule existed in these data, therefore the data mining technology in association rules algorithm applied in the transportation domain, through the association rules to mine and discovery latent relations between the transportation data, provided for the traffic control decision-making support to have the vital significance.The following contents are included in the paper:1. The paper discussed the basic concept, the flow, main technology and the future development direction about the data mining, and then introduced the basic concept and classification of the association rules algorithm and some typical association rules algorithm. Introduced with emphasis about the classics Apriori algorithm thought, analyzed its merit and flaw, and then proposed the improvement FP-Tree algorithm.2. The paper then analyzed the characteristic of the transportation data in transportation domain, and then designed a plan of the traffic control data mining platform, from the platform overhead construction, the excavation flow, the module division has carried on the analyses and the discussion.
