Research On Application Of Data Mining Based On Association Rules In Teaching Evaluation Of Colleges And Universities

Data information is regarded as the most valuable wealth in today's society. As a new frontier, although the history of data mining development is shorter, its trend develops rapidly, especially in recent years. The data mining technology has a wide-range application future and spreading value, and has already won the very good benefits in many industries and fields. But the strong contrast with it is that application of data mining is far from enough in higher education areas, compared to other fields, there still exists a larger gap.This article mainly expounds some basic theoretical knowledge of the data mining and data warehouse, and emphatically introduces the basic theory of association rule and associated mining algorithm,that is, classic Apriori algorithm. Analyzing the shortcomings of classical algorithm and for the deficiencies of the classical algorithm, this paper gives the Apriori-A, Apriori-B two kinds of optimization algorithm. Connected with the reality in Bozhou teachers college, taking teaching evaluation as an example, it focuses on the data mining association rules in college and university's practice. The main work done in this paper embodies in the following:(1) On the basis of studying the relevant references, the basic theoretical knowledge of data mining and data warehouse is arranged in details, and the paper expounds the important significance of data mining application.(2) After analyzing and studying carefully association rules algorithm-Apriori algorithm and giving pseudo-code says, this paper points out the existing shortcomings, providing two kinds of optimization algorithm:Apriori-A and Apriori-B, and connects with actual examples the two kinds of optimization algorithm are analyzed in details and discussed in-depth, it is demonstrated that the efficiency of the algorithm is superior to conventional Apriori algorithm.(3) Taking teaching evaluation database and teacher files in Bozhou teachers college as the mining blueprint, it gives the overall design of data mining module function frame based on the Apriori-B algorithm, and proposes two design mining module schemes. Through the mining, it proves there only exists slight support degree and confidence error, and verifies the feasibility of the Apriori-B algorithm and effectiveness of its conclusion.(4) The paper describes the process of data mining,which uses Apriori-B algorithm to apply for teaching evaluation including data preparation,data cleaning,data generalization and transformation, attribute reduction, the careful analysis of the results and so on. By concrete practice, this paper realizes the application of the data mining technology based on Association Rules in college teaching evaluation.
