| In the process of airlines operation, engineering maintenance management affects safety of flight and cost of maintenance directly. In the system of all engineering maintenance management, department of production management is the center of maintenance, and it contacts with other departments close.The production management information system which is discussed in the paper is a subsystem of the engineering maintenance management information system. The author of this paper is in charge of the subsystem, finishing the analysis, design and test of this system, and taking part in the work of debugging, running, checking and accepting.Based on the practical operation and requirement of Engineering Maintenance Base of Tianjin subsidiary company of Air China, production management system of aircraft engineering maintenance was analyzed, designed and realized with some relevant theories and techniques of management information system and database system. This system is based on Clint/Server, PowerBuilder 7.0, Oracle 8i DBMS, and PFC that PowerBuilder provides. The further development and application of information technology in engineering maintenance management was also discussed.This system has worked for one year, and it works steadily. It realizes the information share of every department, controls the process of engineering maintenance. This system is praised by the users, and it becomes the case of a success in the industry of engineering maintenance. It also has the value of being popularized well in the filed of engineering maintenance. |
