Improving the quality and the reliability of CNC (computer numerical control) products is the key to realize the industrialization and scale production of domestic CNC. The development of CNC system testing equipment is the essential technology to improve quality and reliability of the CNC products.This article constructs SWAI CNC system testing platform based on the testing technology about domestic and foreign CNC. The testing platform takes SWAI CNC system as the research object, and aims at the laggard manual test method used in SWAI CNC systems testing at present. The hardware of testing system is composed of industry control computer and testing card, which communicate via PC104 bus. The testing system realizes the hardware and the system testing of CNC system. The realization of testing system software uses serial communication, multithreading, multimedia timer, double buffer etc technologies, and adopts data analysis and processing method that based on the least quadratic method.The testing experiment was taken on the SWAI SKX4-F CNC system. The conclusion of the experiment indicates that the testing system can test in-out interface of the CNC system, gather the real-time interpolation output data of CNC system, and test the system functions and performance index by analyzing the gathered data. So we validated the validity and the feasibility of the testing system.The testing system can be used in the development validation, production debugging and exception diagnosis of SWAI CNC systems. It is great significance to improve the quality and production efficiency of SWAI CNC products.
