Optical Coherence Tomography (OCT) will be widely used due to its advantages such as high resolution, non-contact and nondestructive. However, its practicability is restricted by the imaging speed and stability which are mainly limited by the scanning manner. These can be resolved by frequency domain rapid scanning optical delay line. The purpose of this research is to provide theory references and design examples for signal detection circuits in OCT based on different purposes with frequency-domain rapid scanning optical delay line. Simultaneously, OCT industrialization can consult from our research achievement. This thesis introduces the principle of OCT imaging and studies the realization of the optical heterodyne detection. Comparing the different scanning manners, it is concluded that the most suitable scanning manner is frequency-domain rapid scanning optical delay line. Based on the theoretical analysis on it, we present the computing method of parameters. The chief work of this thesis mainly includes following aspects:(1) Practical OCT system with frequency domain rapid scanning optical delay line is developed and the computing reference for main parameters of the signal detection circuits in the real system is presented.(2) The design of the signal detection circuits for OCT with high performance on resolution and the signal to noise ratio is detailed through the development of the detecing circuit of the OCT system used for high scattering media imaging in which the center wavelenth of the light sourse is 1310 nm.(3) The design of the signal detection circuits for OCT with high speed imaging property is detailed through the development of the OCT system used for high absorbency media imaging in which the center wavelenth of the light sourse is 820 nm.(4) The OCT system is tested and the high performance of the designed signal detection circuits is proved by imaging different samples. The main computing equations for parameters of the OCT signal...
