To an enterprise, especially large-scale enterprise ,how to ensure the knowledge and the skills ofthe staff keep up with the changes becomes a more and more important work. In all the training, thetraining of sailing is the essential one for all the companies. However, the traditional way of facetoface training has not been able to meet people's needsbecause of the personnel assembling, the large occupation of resources, the tardiness of content updatingand the lackness of pertinence and the record of the learning procedure. The emergence of E-learning(electronic learning) which based on the Internet make it possible to transmit the knowledge in thecompany with low cost and high efficiency.Under this background, entrusted by the company, we try to develop a saling training platform basedon the Web to enable the salers of the company to obtain the high quality training and help anytime in anyplace as well as to reduce the training expense. It should be able to adapt the different learning style sincethe learners are different in their background, education experiences and so on. The paper researchedrelated theories of education, the information technology and the international standard of Elearning. The paper mainly completes the following work:1. We proposed a sailing training platform architecture which conform to the idea of Constructivism andorient to the study task. By the platform the learner can study how to solve the problems occur in thereal saling work or experience a whole saling process in the simulation. The learner can thus masterrelated knowledge and skills during the solving of the study task with the assistance of the system.2. We introduce the SCORM standard to represent each kind of learning materials in order to make themreusable and operable in differenct LMSs(learning management system). And it also make the platformextensible and transplantable.3. Since the platform involves complex multilevel interaction, we adopted Agentoriented softwareengineering to analyze and design it. We assign the function of the platform to several roles, and mapthe roles into the model of intellgent agents when implementation. It is the agents that complete theinteraction and cooperation.4. We proposed an arithmetic to dynamically match between the needs of the learner and the learningmaterials based on the intellgent agents. It can help the learner rapidly obtain the most suitable learningresource, and it also make the learning resources reusable and accessible which conforms to theSCORM standard .
