| WMAN is proposed as an attractive solution for Wireless Internet Service Provider withhigh-speedand fard-istancewireless access. Network management also carefully designed as amodule to monitor and configure the transmission network. This paper designed the realization ofnetwork management agent, developed solution of all kinds of communication architecture ofagent and induced the mathematics model of network management architecture which can be usedto evaluate the reliability of network management system.Network management agent design based on Adventnet tool carried out the basic functions,agent access method and data collection system, including function requirements, elaborate designand extended application. The network management function composes of fault, configuration,performance, accounting and security. Access methods including SNMP, HTTP and CLI aredesigned for different applications. Communication methods between agent and protocolincluding CORBA, message queue, and API are also carefully designed. At last, a data collectionsystem which is based on agent is carried out.Communication architectures were developed for different application background, includingsingle-IPsolution, double-IPsolution and independent-IPsolution. This paper gives detailedintroduction to architecture design, data flow, module interface, and key technologies. Solutionsintroduced in this paper carry out the balance between IP consumption and design difficulties andwork effectively. Some well-designedmodules can be used in order to decrease design difficulty.Distributed mathematic model is induced from network management system and networkmanagement reliability can be quantized by network reliability computation method. Distributedprogram reliability problem and its restriction in the background of distributed system areanalyzed and the problem of distributed system reliability computation is proposed. The result ofdistributed system reliability can be computed directly by ECP for recursive decomposition ofconnection matrix and real-timejudgment of terminal condition. The storage architecture in thisalgorithm is optimized for less storage usage. An example is presented for this algorithm.This paper gives an introduction to the development background, system architecture ofWMAN and its network management function and access methods. Then the realization of itsnetwork management, design of agent communication architecture and network reliability analysisinduced from network management architecture are introduced. This thesis demonstrates goodreference value to agent design and mathematical analysis of reliability in some extent. |
