Research On Data Visualization And The Application In Educational Administration Information Database

With the development and reform of higher education, the scale of school has increasingly extended, the management of the teaching plan seems to be much more tedious and complicated. The traditional method and work efficiency not only haven't adapt to the new conditions but also become an obstacle of teaching management.The key point of solving that problem is to introduce computer into the teaching plan management.The information management technique, which takes the database system as the representative, is changing toward the higher layer of supporting system. This kind of substance for change is to analyze and comprehend the existing data and give the estimate at the same time. Here, Data Visualization technique will become much important and a kind of necessary tool in the data machine analysis.Data Visualization Technique use the knowledge of Computer Graphics and Image Processing to convert the data as the sketch or the picture showing on the screen, and can be communicate with client. It involves many fields, such as Computer Graphics, Image Processing, CAD, Computer Sense of Vision and person's interface technique etc. It adopt the mode of man-machine conversation, by convert the data to the picture in 3D scene, we can easily find the rule, and then make the scientific decision.This paper firstly introduce the concept of Data Visualization to educational information management system, by redeveloping the software SolidWorks in VC++ and adopting parameterized molding means of machine design, distill the 3D information from the educational administration database to form the parameter that the sketch draw with. Then add new menu in the SolidWorks system environment, and make use of its mature 3D sketch draw and manipulate function, found a 3D scene to establish manifestation of the sketch. The software also have the function of 2D displaying and searches for the database information, by working consonance, complete the assistant management of the educational administration database. The paper attempts to use ADO technique to access database and connect with SolidWorks by COM programmed method, and introduces the technique of distilling 3D information from database and redevelop SolidWorks in detail, have great meaning in theory and in reality.
