With the development of information technology such as computer, multimedia and network technology, the traditional teaching and learning methods are changing, new learning needs learners will conduct independently, and to explore cooperation in the study. How to use information technology, especially computer network technology hardware conditions, created a significant knowledge resource environment, friendly and convenient communication environment, the ideal collaborative learning environment, and how to give full play to the functions and advantages of new technologies become an issue worth considering.During the course of the study subjects, taking the "TV programming" virtual learning environment as a starting point, we introduced virtual reality technology ,the characteristics of distributed virtual learning environment and computer-supported collaborative learning mechanisms characteristics. And then in the analysis of virtual reality construct theoretical basis, we presented distributed virtual reality technology and computer-supported collaborative learning mechanisms in the feasibility. Then we studied the functional objectives of a distributed virtual learning environment and the models, and in the analysis of several key technical basis, we try to use technology such as X3D and Java3D built a CSCL combination with virtual reality technology ---distributed collaborative virtual learning environment. In the final we are process of teaching and experimental teaching effectiveness analyses, thus provides a way of thinking and learning form of similar learning environment and related learning resource development.
