The Distributed Virtual Reality (abbreviated as DVR) is a virtual system, which is extensive, networked, and based on computer. In this virtual space, a lot of persons and entities controlled by computers can interact. Because the good market prospects with extensive social benefit of the Collaborative design system basked on Distributed Virtual Reality, the study of this system seems to be very important.Researching a Collaborative Design system in DVR comes down to many technological fields, such as computer graphics, computer network, database etc. The Information Synchronization is the bottle neck in the Collaborative Design system in DVR, and becomes one of the key research tasks of the system. The work for this thesis is as follows:Firstly, based on previous studies, this thesis puts forward the information Synchronization theory of Collaborative System in DVR, gives a synchronous control scheme, including information transmission delay, entity states dead reckoning, advanced information-getting schema and system clock Synchronization.Secondly, this thesis brings forward the measures to solve the information consistency and the real time for the response of sharing operation.Thirdly, this thesis designs a parallel rendering model, realizing its task scheduling in the Agent and the communication between Client and Server. Finally, it gives an example to display and spatially operate geometrical bodies in the Client.
